MOTOTRBO™ Capacity Max – The Next Phase in Trunking
Whether your operation is confined to a single campus or stretches across the entire province, your communications solution should be capable of adapting to the needs and growth of your business. Bringing together feedback and real-world field testing of DMR-based trunking systems, Motorola has developed a new versatile, scalable trunking solution. The MOTOTRBO™ Capacity Max Trunked Radio System combines the best of two-way radio functionality with the latest digital technology, giving your business a level of control and efficiency that wasn’t possible until now.
In today’s digital world that demands complete interoperability, the job of managing a fleet of radios has evolved into managing a full suite of devices and software to meet operational needs and industry regulations. Capacity Max takes the guesswork out of coordinating all the moving parts of a complex communications system, giving you complete system control in one central location. With complete command of infrastructure, devices, and talk groups, you can optimize the performance and programming of your entire system without resulting in downtime.
You want your business to grow, and your communications system should provide the flexibility you need to expand your operations. Capacity Max removes the limitations for scaling by supporting up to 15 sites, with up to 3,000 users per site and up to 100 voice talk paths. Capacity Max also fits seamlessly into the existing MOTOTRBO™ portfolio of systems. Whether you’re starting from Capacity Plus or IP Site Connect, the transition to Capacity Max is straightforward and non-disruptive.
Reliable and Secure
Capacity Max is based on a standard IP network and an industry-standard server platform, removing the need for specialized hardware. The system is designed so that no single failure can bring down the entire system. Optional redundant system servers, IP switches, and site repeaters can be equipped for enhanced performance. You can also program a second control channel per site for optimal user capacity. The IP network is also encrypted for maximum voice and data security. You can even remotely disable and re-enable a device in the event it is lost or stolen.
DMR Tier III Compatible
Capacity Max is fully compliant with ETSI and goes beyond the core interoperability of the DMR standard to bring you the innovative features you’d expect from MOTOTRBO™, like advanced location tracking and enhanced security. If your system needs to support radios for other vendors, Capacity Max can be run in DMR Tier III “interoperability” mode with these features disabled.
